The architectural and design community recently gathered in Boston for the highly anticipated AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2025, held from June 4-7. As the premier annual event for professionals in our industry, this year's conference offered an invaluable platform for networking, learning, and showcasing the innovations that are shaping the built environment. We were proud to be a part of this dynamic gathering–supporting our clients and engaging with the insightful discussions and advancements taking place.

Boston: A Hub of Innovation and Expertise

Each year, The AIA Conference brings together a global network of architects and design professionals. This year, Boston welcomed an estimated 15,000 attendees, including architects, engineers, contractors, interior designers, landscape architects, and more.

With more than 450 sessions, inspiring keynotes, and diverse educational opportunities offering valuable continuing education credits, this year’s agenda reflected the industry’s rapid evolution. Topics included sustainability, AI-driven design tools, digital twinning, and advanced building automation. Immersive tours of Boston's architectural marvels added a rich layer of context and inspiration.

The Power of the Expo: Showcasing Innovation

One of the conference’s biggest draws was the bustling and vibrant expo, held June 5-6. Nearly 92% of attendees explored the expo floor, which was strategically organized into four immersive zones—Innovate, Design, Build, and Practice—making it easy to discover new technologies, materials, and services.

Our clients played a major role in energizing this space, standing out as leaders in design software and technology:

  • Chaos (V-ray, Enscape, Envision): Known for their industry-leading rendering and visualization tools, Chaos empowers architects to bring their concepts to life with photorealistic detail. Their presence emphasizes the growing importance of visualization in architectural storytelling and technical communication.

  • SketchUp: As a foundational tool in 3D modeling, SketchUp remains essential for professionals across all stages of the design process. Their demos highlighted the balance of accessibility and power in modern design software.

  • Lumion: Specializing in real-time rendering, Lumion showcased how rapid visualization enhances both workflow efficiency and client presentations. Their solutions are helping to redefine what’s possible under tight deadlines.

  • UpCodes: In an industry governed by complex regulations, UpCodes stood out for its intuitive code compliance platform. Their tools simplify navigation through complex building regulations, helping firms reduce risk and improve project accuracy.

Through their participation as exhibitors and thought leaders, these Proctor clients engaged deeply with a highly qualified audience–sharing knowledge, generating high-quality leads, fostering meaningful connections, and positioning their products for future specification in projects worldwide.

Looking Ahead: Continued Growth and Collaboration
